TDIC Projects

Everything is changing all over the world to get with the modernizations projects. One of these projects is Constructions that changed our style from day to day. UAE is one of the modern countries that is improving quickly and attracting many visitors annually by the great projects. Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) implemented many projects in UAE. Now, I am going to write about the best and least interesting projects from my point of view.
Saadiyat Island is an adjacent place to the coast of Abu Dhabi. It is one of the major development projects in Abu Dhabi. It is located northeast of the city and has an area of 27 km2. It will be the home of five cultural institutions which are the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Performing Arts Centre, the Maritime Museum and the Sheikh Zayed National Museum. It has also seven star hotels, exclusive villas and hotel accommodations.

On the other hand, the emirates pearl is the least project that I like from the various projects that the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) is implementing. It is a tower in Al-Khalidiya area that matches the development and mostly the outside builds that is from glass. We are living in a country that is suffering from the wind. So, it will be difficult for the cleaners to save the outside view from the dust and complex sand from time to time. It is also easily to break if any thing happens suddenly like, earth-quake.

To conclude, these projects are very costly, but Abu Dhabi government is thinking far ahead of the cost issue. Reputation is where they are heading. There are also many projects will be implemented by the TDIC such as Eastern Mangroves, The Bridgeway and Shangri La Hotel. Saadiyat Island future vision will attract visitors from all over the world.

Cool Cities

We are living these days in a sophisticated world. So, everything is improving day after day like the nature is changing with increased pollution from humans. There are many solutions that governments can do for reducing the CO2 emissions but they depend on many factors. Although, there are some solutions that the government can do, but some of them aren’t adapted with human uses.

One of these solutions is solar energy, which can generate power instead of electricity that produces more CO2 emissions and pollution. Secondly, the government can change the inefficient light bulbs that produce emissions with more light. The third solution is that the government should prohibit old cars that produce more CO2 emissions.

As they have solutions that can adapt with humans, they have also many solutions that human can’t adapt to. One of these is switching off the A.C, but in many countries that suffer from hot weather can’t apply this solution. Another solution is buses and trains are used instead of cars, whereas we are living in a sophisticated world as I mention above that everyone has his own car and uses it. Another yet solution is that using the Nuclear power for generating power which needs a lot of uranium that is too expensive. In fact, the other countries will think that power will use for fighting them or the world.

All in all, solutions that reduced the CO2 emissions and pollution depend on the society and weather that is around us. In my opinion, if all governments share their solutions together and benefit from the other’s mistakes, the world will be in a safe situation.
